Full Time at The Villages Sales & Marketing

This position is responsible for data entry and basic clerical duties to include detailed percent calculations. The purpose of this position is to create and process contracts with accuracy and speed in order to keep the flow of paperwork at a maximum. This position is also responsible for handling multi-line phone systems and for being able to project enthusiasm and a pleasant atmosphere in order to set the tone because for many this will be where they will get their first impression of The Villages.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Answer a multi-line telephone system and relay all messages via phone or e-mail. Computer data entry.

Production of Daily Reports for Contracts and Sales department personnel. Data entry for land and home contracts purchase.

Operate all office machines, i.e. copy machine, fax, etc..

Process contracts and distribute them through Sales Department Maintain contract files.

Create and process all auxiliary documents to any contract. Receive and process substantial deposits on said contracts to accounting.

Perform in a professional and courteous manner to optimize positive customer relations. Attend periodic meetings and/or educational sessions.

Education & Requirements:

High School Diploma.

 2 years experience in a fast-paced, detail-oriented professional office environment.

Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and possess working experience with a data base program. Subject to testing

Working experience with the AS400 a plus. May be subject to keyboarding, equipment and percent calculations testing.

Proficient with math calculations. Some training will be involved.

Contracts is open 7 days a week.  Weekends are mandatory. 

Must be flexible to work extra hours when needed for last minute customer requirements.
