Full Time at The Villages Insurance

Solicit residents and provide life, annuities and long term care coverages as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Actively solicit opportunities to generate sales via phone, email, advertising and community involvement

Conduct fact finding and underwriting in a professional, timely and courteous manner

Submit all pertinent materials to underwriting with accuracy and attention to detail

Deliver policies and provide ongoing client services as needed

Education and Experience:

Florida Insurance license: 215, 218, Series 6

Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises employees in the insurance department

Carries our supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws

Responsibilities include hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
