Full Time at The Villages Insurance

Sell and service insurance to new and current clients at the designated insurance office performing the following duties. The employee must possess the ability to make independent decisions in the best interest of the agency and the client as well as the ability to work independently and be capable of teamwork.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

Compile lists of prospective clients to provide leads for additional business

Contact and qualify prospective clients and explain features and merits of policies offered, recommending amount and type of coverage based on analysis of prospect's circumstances

Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the placement of customers into different insurance companies

Calculate and quote premium rates for property/casualty policies

Collect premiums from policyholders and keep records of payments

Help policyholders settle insurance claims in the event of a loss

Anticipate future needs to renew and upgrade accounts

Develop long-term relationships with clients and underwriters

Education and experience:

One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have 220 Property/Casualty Agent license

Working knowledge of Microsoft office software
