Full Time at The Villages Sales and Marketing

In the spirit of "Making Dreams Come True", this person will produce retail pricing via costs of material and take offs from building plans in the creation and design of “dream” homes. The Estimators wealth of knowledge, attention to detail, active listening skills and good question asking abilities allows them to ultimately assist their team members tailor the design and build process for future homeowners.  This role is the perfect blend of interdepartmental interaction and behind the scenes project management. This role is an integral part of the sales design team.

Essential Duties and  Responsibilities:

Calculates retail costs by performing complete construction usage of materials and therefore a complete cost

Collaborates with Design Consultants, Construction, Agewave, Subcontractors, suppliers, etc.

Provide detail construction specifications for builders, subcontractors and suppliers

Material take-offs from construction plans and technical documents for determining product usage and therefore cost

Provide and maintain current and correct product descriptions, Job codes, finishing schedule codes, pricing codes and cost/selling price for construction/sales documents

Process change orders/work orders

Review margins/invoices on a case by case basis

Provide policy direction in the construction process for product selections i.e. what can and can’t be accomplished


Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school preferred; or 1+ years of professional sales and customer service experience (luxury home design or home construction industry preferred).; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Design and/or construction experience desired but not required.

Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Must be proficient in the Microsoft family of programs (excel, outlook, etc ) and be able to lift up to 201bs to perform various duties and tasks.
