Citizens First Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager who will be responsible for a major portion of the operations of the branch, and for ensuing that extreme customer service is provided.  This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Successful candidate will need to perform the essential functions of the job:

· Responsible for overseeing that Branch personnel provide extreme customer service in an efficient and tactful manner

· Responsible for overseeing that all tellers adhere to the accurate handling of the banks cash while maintaining security of the working environment

· Assumes responsibility for the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager

· Resolves banking problems for customers

· Participates in sales development activities

· Has authority to approve cashing of checks

· Assists Branch Manager with consumer lending

· Prepare monthly/quarterly reports including but not limited to: audit reports, management reports, etc.

· Performs clerical duties for Branch Manager as needed

In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

· High School Diploma/GED

· Prefer two year degree in business. Or four years of work experience as a teller and CSR in banking environment

· 1 year lending or equitable equivalent work experience along with 1 year lead or supervisor experience in a banking environment.

· Excellent customer relations, written and verbal communication skills

· Computer proficient
